App Store Connect

App Store Connect is Apple's web dashboard for managing your iOS apps - creating the app listing, uploading builds, defining in-app purchase products, filling in metadata and privacy answers, distributing TestFlight betas, and submitting for review. It is where everything about your app on Apple's side lives. Getting comfortable in App Store Connect - creating your app record early, setting up your subscription products, and answering the App Privacy questions honestly - is a required step on the path to a live iOS listing, and one the club walks through screen by screen.

App Store Connect is Apple's web dashboard for everything about your app on the iOS side, and it is one of the first places a new builder needs to get comfortable. It is where you create your app record, upload builds, set up in-app purchase products, write your listing, answer the App Privacy questions, distribute TestFlight betas, and finally submit for review. If TestFlight is where testers run your app, App Store Connect is the control room where you manage the whole app from creation to launch.

The reason App Store Connect matters early is that a surprising amount of launch work happens here, not in your code. Your subscription products are defined in App Store Connect before RevenueCat can sell them. Your privacy answers, which Apple checks at review, are entered here. Your screenshots, description, and keywords all live here. A builder who creates their app record early and fills these in as they go avoids a last-minute scramble the night before submission, when a missing privacy policy or an undefined product can stall the launch.

The mistake new builders make is treating App Store Connect as an afterthought - something to deal with once the app is done. In practice, setting up your app record and enrolling your developer account in week one is what lets everything else fall into place: EAS can upload builds to it, RevenueCat can pull your products from it, and TestFlight can distribute from it. The club walks through App Store Connect screen by screen so the dashboard is a checklist you work through, not a wall you hit at the finish line.
